Commitment to Community

Proud to serve eastern Wisconsin

Since our founding in 1980, Froedtert Hospital has been dedicated to improving the health and well being of the community.

We demonstrate our commitment to Froedtert Hospital’s mission through programs that benefit “vulnerable populations” — people with limited access to healthcare services — and those that support economic and workforce development. Our greatest opportunity for positive impact is in Milwaukee’s underserved urban neighborhoods.

In 2007, Froedtert Hospital, a not-for-profit organization, provided over $130 million in programs and services benefiting the community. Contributions include our healthcare expertise, financial support, in-kind contributions, leadership to promote community health partnerships and other donations.

Froedtert Hospital strives to improve the quality of life for people in the communities we serve through healthcare programs that are accessible and culturally appropriate. We partner with community leaders and members to openly exchange resources, information and assets to improve access to health care and community health.
