Our Commitment to Community

Encouraging Community Service

For the staff of Froedtert Hospital, caring for people extends well beyond the walls of our hospital and clinics. Staff members volunteer their time in the community, contribute funds and needed items to a number of charities and participate in health-related community events.

Froedtert Cares

Froedtert Cares is a series of programs involving staff outreach through employee giving, contributions of needed items to charities, and participation in community service efforts on behalf of Froedtert Hospital. Learn more about Froedtert Cares.

Community Service Program

The Community Service Program allows hourly staff involved in community service on behalf of the hospital to be paid at their regular rate for up to eight hours of community service per year.

Froedtert Hospital’s CSP was awarded the Volunteer Center of Milwaukee’s 2009 “Inspire by Example” Business Award for promoting, encouraging and supporting employee volunteerism at the 27th Annual Volunteer awards luncheon. Learn more about the Community Service Program.
