Who We Are

Vision, Mission and Values

Located in Wauwatosa, a western suburb of Milwaukee, Froedtert Hospital has played a critical role in contributing to the quality of life in Wisconsin and northern Illinois since opening its doors in 1980 as a not-for-profit hospital.

It is home to the region’s only adult Level I Trauma Center that treats about 3,000 patients a year. More than 1,300 Medical College of Wisconsin physicians and more than 5,000 hospital staff are dedicated to excellence in patient care, research and medical education at this premier academic medical center.

Mission

Froedtert Health Froedtert Hospital, in partnership with the Medical College of Wisconsin, advances the health of the communities we serve through exceptional care enhanced by innovation and discovery and teaches the next generation of health care professionals.
