6th Annual Moving Forward Ride/Walk for Parkinson's Disease

Ride or walk this October to raise awareness of Parkinson’s disease and raise money for community programs for people with Parkinson disease in Southeastern Wisconsin supported by The Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin Parkinson’s Program and the American Parkinson Disease Association-Wisconsin Chapter.

Ride

Enjoy one of two great bike rides in the beautiful lake country or a walk along the Glacier Drumlin Trail.

  • A 30-mile pedal through the fall colors starts at 9:00 a.m. (check-in begins at 8:00 a.m.): $45 per person 
  • A less hilly, scenic 10-mile ride starts at 10:00 a.m. (check-in begins at 9:00 a.m.): $45 per person

Walk

A one-mile, two-mile, or 5K walk on the Glacial Drumlin State Trail for our Parkinson’s friends and families starts at 10:30 a.m. (check-in begins at 9:30 a.m.): 

  • $20 per person
  • $40 per family (A family includes people who live at the same address.)

Children 12-18 years old can ride or walk for free with adult supervision. Children under 12 should participate in one of the walks.

Food, festivities and kids’ activities, including face painting and balloon animals, will be available from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Children 12-18 years old can ride or walk for free with adult supervision. Children under 12 should participate in one of the walks.

On-line registration closes on Friday, Oct. 3, at 4 p.m., but we will accept same-day registration on Sunday, Oct. 5, at Cory Park. Registration includes a t-shirt and lunch.

Hi Vicki, It was a great program yesterday. I wanted to know how we create a team around one of my friends who was there yesterday at the program.
