Designated Funds
Gifts made to Froedtert Hospital Foundation may be designated for any of these program areas and many more.
Breast Care Center
Supports clinical research for the prevention and care of cancerous and non-cancerous diseases of the breast.
Building Fund
Designated for projects to replace facilities, new building programs and improve existing facilities to meet new standards of excellence. Funds may also be used to provide furnishings.
Cancer Center/Oncology
For support of cancer programs at the Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin Cancer Center. Supports all cancer programs at the hospital. Read more on how your gifts help the Cancer Center.
Cardiovascular/Heart
Provides support for the comprehensive cardiac and heart surgery programs within the Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin Heart and Vascular Center.
Chaplaincy Program
Supports hospital chaplaincy services, an essential element of the healing process at Froedtert Hospital. The Froedtert Hospital chaplaincy's primary goal is to ensure spiritual support is available to every patient and family member according to their desires, no matter what their belief or creed.
Clinical Fellowships
Covers the cost of postgraduate clinical specialty training for the next generation of physicians.
Community Outreach/Education
Health improvement and community capacity building programs create linkages with other community health-related organizations and support health education, teaching and “leg up” programs for central city residents.
Dialysis Fund
A special fund specifically designed to help with costs associated with kidney dialysis programs at Froedtert Hospital and other outreach facilities.
Emergency/Trauma Center
Supports southeast Wisconsin’s only adult Level I Trauma Center. These funds include support for safety education and violence prevention.
Employee/Staff Assistance-Crisis Fund
Provides special assistance to Froedtert Hospital staff members. Epilepsy/Seizure Disorders provides funds for both community awareness and medical service programs for individuals who have seizure disorders and for their family members and loved ones.
Indigent Care
Pays costs of inpatient, outpatient services and sometimes for clothing, family housing and other necessary costs for less fortunate patients and their loved ones.
Neurosciences
Supports clinical services and new technology for the hospital’s neurosciences programs.
New Technology Fund
Looks to the future by providing funds for acquisitions of the highest level technological advances.
Organ Donor Awareness
Pays for community education programs to encourage individuals to sign organ donor cards.
Orthopaedic Program
Provides orthopaedic care programs including joint replacement surgery, other forms of orthopaedic surgery and rehabilitation for bone problems.
Palliative Care
Supports an innovative, nationally hailed program committed to improving end-of-life experiences through innovative clinical care and education.
Patient Transportation
Helps cover costs of transporting patients who need a ride to and from Froedtert Hospital but are not sick enough to require an ambulance.
Prostate Cancer
Supports this program which is nationally and internationally known for both quality and for innovations which have improved the care of patients with cancerous and non-cancerous problems of the prostate.
Senior Health
Provides support for senior health programs that range from an innovative urinary incontinence clinic to health education, housing, and home care.
Spinal Cord Injury
Provides leading-edge care to victims of spinal cord injury.
Staff Scholarship Fund
Provides continuing professional education for Froedtert Hospital staff members.
Stroke Program
Provides new, innovative services for stroke patients and their families.
Transplant
Supports the medical application of organ transplant services based at Froedtert Hospital.
