Froedtert's nurses are among the best in the country.  In fact, the American Nurses Credentialing Center has awarded Froedtert Hospital its highest honor for excellence in nursing services-Magnet designation.  Designation through the Magnet Recognition Program means Froedtert's nurses are among the country's best in caring for patients, working as a team, pursuing ongoing training and giving to the community.

Nurses at Froedtert Hospital aggressively pursue professional advancement through continuing nursing education and research.  Many Froedtert Hospital nurses are advanced practice nurses or clinical nurse specialists, earning master's or doctorate degrees.  These efforts bring renewed energy and knowledge to patient care.      

Your Gift Helps in Many Ways

A gift to the Nursing Fund is an ideal way to honor and support the caregivers who supported you during your hospital stay.  Gifts of any size make a difference and provide support for many programs and services, such as:  

$100 provides the opportunity for a nurse to attend local conferences and update their skills  

$250 supports nursing certification classes to validate nurses' skills, knowledge and abilities and contribute to better patient outcomes  

$500 funds nursing excellence awards, recognizing Froedtert Hospital nurses who go above and beyond the call of duty in caring for patients, leading and/ or mentoring their peers, or making significant professional or voluntary contributions to improve patient care

$1,000 supports nursing research to evaluate and implement best practice nursing.  

$2,500 provides educational assistance for a scholarship, leading to a nursing degree
