EMS professionals are essential members of the healthcare team. Froedtert & The Medical College of Wisconsin, with eastern Wisconsin’s only adult Level I Trauma Center, honor the dedication of our EMS partners. We know and appreciate that we have one of the premier EMS systems in the country working in partnership to save lives.

Educational Opportunities

At Froedtert & The Medical College of Wisconsin, we offer various preceptor and other educational programs for healthcare professionals. Often, these programs are accredited or will be designated with contact hours or Continuing Medical Education (CME).

Spinal Cord Injury Preceptorship
This class takes place several dates throughout the year, from 7 a.m. to noon at the Community Conference Center (Conference Room 3). There is no cost to attend this program. At the outcome of this course, participants will understand how assessment findings influence stabilization decisions and be able to incorporate pathophysiological principles in the field to prevent secondary brain injury. View a sample schedule.
