PGY1 Residency Project
Development of pharmacist-provided clinical services in the Clinical Cancer Center

A heavy focus is being placed on the new Froedtert & The Medical College of Wisconsin Clinical Cancer Center to provide best in class service to our cancer patients. This should include the involvement of clinical pharmacists in targeted hematology-oncology clinics. The resident will work with pharmacists, physicians, nurses, and administration in the Clinical Cancer Center to develop pharmacist-provided clinical services.

Why did you choose to pursue a residency?
The idea of gaining 5 years experience within a one year residency was the driving factor for selecting a residency. Additionally, I envision an eventual clinical role within an organization that would be extremely difficult to obtain without being residency trained.

What attracted you to Froedtert’s pharmacy residency program?
Positive staff, great opportunities, leadership, a growing organization that is always looking to expand pharmacy services.

Professional interests
Ambulatory services, oncology, diabetes, anticoagulation

Hobbies
Mountain biking, wakeboarding, snowboarding, cross country skiing

What's your favorite thing to do in Milwaukee?
Swimming at Bradford beach.
