PGY1 Residency Project
Efficacy of 0.5mg/2ml alteplase dosing in clearing central venous access devices
Goal of the project is to assess if volume, not dose, is more important when giving alteplase to clear clotted central venous access devices

Why did you choose to pursue a residency?
To become more experienced in staffing general medicine floors as well as furthering my education in the vast array of hospital pharmacy practices. Another big factor was that residency allows me to start my career while getting involved in academia.

What attracted you to Froedtert’s pharmacy residency program?
The wide variety of rotations, the staffing model, the chance to get started in academia and the fact that Froedtert is a teaching institution.

What's your favorite thing to do in Milwaukee?
I enjoy hanging out around the lake, going to Brewers games (more when the Cardinals are in town), and indulging in local food as well as other fine Milwaukee goods.
