PGY1 Residency Project
Redefining the Pharmacist’s Role in Venous Thromboembolism Prevention

Why did you choose to pursue a residency?
I wanted to gain additional educational experience and pursue a variety of opportunities to determine where I choose to practice in the future.

What attracted you to Froedtert’s pharmacy residency program?
Froedtert offered a variety of programming that I was interested in, including critical care and oncology. Additionally, my interactions with the current Froedtert residents and program director were all very friendly and encouraging.

Professional interests
I am interested in pursuing an additional year of residency training and continuing in the practice of clinical pharmacy.

Hobbies
My favorite thing to do outside of pharmacy is travel. I like to go on road trips, take vacations, and visit friends from school. Other interests include boating/swimming, going to the movies, bike riding around Milwaukee.

What's your favorite thing to do in Milwaukee?
I love being outdoors in Milwaukee, especially in the summer months. The city has so much to offer! I enjoy exploring new places to eat, museums to visit, and parks/beaches to go to.
