PGY1 Residency Project
The Integration of Pharmacy Residents in a PCI Clinic using Medical Home Model Tools to Improve Patient Services
Recently, two pharmacists were added to the Froedtert PCI clinics to provide a pharmacy presence, acting as a resource to other healthcare professionals, provide consultations, complete medication reconciliations, improve compliance, and reduce hospital readmission rates. I will be looking into adding pharmacy residents in the remaining PCI clinics to improve better patient services.

Why did you choose to pursue a residency?
I wanted to gain more experience in clinical pharmacy before pursuing a career.

What attracted you to Froedtert’s pharmacy residency program?
Location, friendly staff, and wide variety of available clinics.

Anticoagulation, teaching

Hobbies
Cooking! But I also enjoy spending time with family and friends, and catching up on movies.

What's your favorite thing to do in Milwaukee?
Go to the zoo or attend some of the many festivals that occur year round.
