Improving Allergy Documentation Across the Healthcare Continuum
The purpose of the study is threefold. First, to determine the current practices of allergy documentation at Froedtert Health within our electronic medical record, Epic®. Second, to optimize our allergy documentation within Epic® and finally, to provide education to all disciplines regarding reporting accurate medication allergies.

Why did you choose to pursue a residency?
I decided to pursue a residency because it offers many diverse experiences to expand and grow as a clinical pharmacist. Even after four years of pharmacy school I felt like I had so much more to learn! Residency allows you to explore different areas of pharmacy while helping to build a solid foundation. With the variety of opportunities available, it has helped to determine what areas I want to practice with in the future.

What attracted you to Froedtert’s pharmacy residency program?
Froedtert has an amazing team of pharmacists and managers who help to promote pharmacy practice at Froedtert. As an academic medical center, there is a focus on teaching and advancement of our practice. Joining them felt like the right fit. Other bonuses include the wide variety of rotations, flexibility in scheduling, and opportunities to teach and precept students.
