May I still pay my bill by mail, either with a check or credit card?Yes, payment by mail is still acceptable and is expected to remain the preferred method of payment for most patients. The online bill payment option is provided only as an added convenience for those who prefer to avoid the time and expense of traditional payment. TOP
Where are you located?
The Patient Financial Services Department has moved to a new location. The department is now located in the Froedtert Health Administrative Services building at the Woodland Prime office park. Although our physical location has changed, our mailing address and phone numbers remain the same. TOP
Why am I receiving two bills for the same service?The bill you receive from us will only contain Froedtert Hospital charges for services provided by the hospital. Physicians are not employed by the hospital. Professional fees charged by these physicians for services provided to you will be billed by the Medical College of Wisconsin separately and apart from the fees charged by the hospital. If you receive a bill from the physician and have questions, please call 800-242-1649. TOP
Did you bill my insurance?Your statement will indicate any payments received and the name of the insurance company that Froedtert Hospital billed. You should have received an Explanation of Benefits from your insurance company that matches the total billed, adjustments and balance due that are listed on your statement. TOP
What information will I be asked to verify in order to discuss my bill?If you call Froedtert Hospital Patient Financial Services to discuss your bill, you will be asked to verify your social security number. This identity verification is done for your protection. TOP
