T. Clark Gamblin, MD, MS

Internationally Known Liver Specialist Joins Froedtert & The Medical College

On July 1, 2010, internationally known liver cancer specialist T. Clark Gamblin, MD, MS, joins Froedtert & The Medical College of Wisconsin as chief of Surgical Oncology and the Stuart Wilson Chair in Surgery.

T. Clark GamblinDr. Gamblin comes to Froedtert & The Medical College from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, divisions of Surgical Oncology and Transplantation, where he is director of the university’s Neuroendocrine Cancer Treatment Center. He received his medical degree from the University of Mississippi Medical School. He completed a general surgery residency at Mercer University and a surgical oncology fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh. He received a master of science degree in clinical research from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.

Dr. Gamblin is a hepatobiliary surgeon with clinical and research interests in primary and metastatic tumors of the liver. He has been involved in many clinical trials investigating innovative ways to treat liver malignancies, as well as a National Institutes of Health basic science research program involving liver cancer stem cells.

He has presented more than 100 lectures on the multimodality management of liver tumors to regional, national and international audiences.
