Prostate Screenings
Early disgnosis is vital to successful treatment of prostate cancer, and annual screenings — a PSA blood test and a digital rectal exam — can catch the disease early. Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin offer free year-round prostate cancer screenings to men at high risk of developing the disease.

Those at higher risk include:

  • Men older than 50 who haven't had a prostate screening in the past 12 months
  • African-American men over 40 who haven't had a prostate screening in the past 12 months
  • Men older than 40 who have a close relative (father or brother) who had prostate cancer

If you are in any of these risk categories, please call us to confirm your qualifications and to schedule an appointment. Call 414-805-3666 or 800-272-3666, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
