The cholesterol screening requires a 12-hour fast: you may only have water in the 12 hours before the screening. No alcohol 48 hours prior to test. The test, a Lipid Panel + Glucose, is a finger stick. The results will be available within 10 minutes of the screening.
Fee: Free for Small Stones Members, $25 for non-members

Head and Neck Cancer ScreeningThere are no screenings listed at this time.

This basic screening is based on a brief history and an examination of the mouth, head, throat and neck. This screening is open to smokers over the age of 40 or someone with an oral cavity complaint, hoarseness or pain when they swallow

Nutrition AssessmentMeet with our dietitian for 30 minutes to learn ways to make nutritional changes in your life! Keep track of the amount of food you eat on three typical days, and she will help you with your food choices for optimal health. Bring your questions to this one-on-one counseling session. By appointment only. Fee: $20 Small Stones members, $25 non-members
Prostate ScreeningsEarly disgnosis is vital to successful treatment of prostate cancer, and annual screenings — a PSA blood test and a digital rectal exam — can catch the disease early. Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin offer free year-round prostate cancer screenings to men at high risk of developing the disease.
Those at higher risk include:
- Men older than 50 who haven't had a prostate screening in the past 12 months
- African-American men over 40 who haven't had a prostate screening in the past 12 months
- Men older than 40 who have a close relative (father or brother) who had prostate cancer

The best treatment for stroke, the third-leading cause of death in the United States, is prevention. Knowing your risk factors (high blood pressure, heart disease, high cholesterol, smoking and diabetes) is one way to prevent stroke and its long-term health consequences. Call to sign up for this free stroke assessment to determine your risk factors and what you can do about them.
