As healthcare professionals, we can often see the positive results of our work, but we don’t always realize how deeply we affect the lives of our patients and their families. Through patient satisfaction surveys, we regularly hear from patients about the excellent care and attention they receive at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin. While knowing we do the best job possible is its own reward, it’s nice to hear it from the people we help, too. Following are a just a few of the comments we received on recent patient satisfaction surveys:
Emergency Department, June 2005
“My nurse, Mike, was very compassionate and went above and beyond the call of duty.”
"Yvette and Kimberly A. were very good. Yvette was very proactive, drawing a couple tubes of blood when starting my IV just in case the MD ordered some. Both RNs were caring and professional.”
Radiation Oncology, June 2005“The girls were outstanding. Heather, Joan, Jean and Peggy were so good to me. They answered questions and put me at ease. They are very special people. Amazing group.”
GI, June 2005“Dr. Hogan had a nice sense of humor. The RN who administered the sedative explained things well and addressed my concerns about pain.”
