New Spine Surgeon Joins Staff
Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin is pleased to welcome Christopher Wolfla, MD, to the physician team. Dr. Wolfla is a board-certified, fellowship-trained, neurosurgical spine specialist.
Dr. Wolfla will specialize in the comprehensive management of all spinal problems, with particular interest and expertise in complex spinal disorders. "My emphasis is on an individualized approach to patient care," he explains. "That approach is a perfect match with SpineCare's concept of helping patients develop independent self-management of their spinal disorders."
After completing a fellowship in spinal surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin, and a residency in neurological surgery at the Indiana University Medical Center, Dr. Wolfla joined the faculty of the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. He currently serves on the Executive Committees of the Congress of Neurological Surgeons and is Annual Meeting Chairman for its 55th Annual Meeting in October 2005. Additionally, he is a recognized neurosurgery educator and has published more than two-dozen research papers and scientific abstracts.
