Breast Cancer Specialist Honored With
Community Memorial Hospital’s “Spirit of Caring” Award
Julia White, MD, a Medical College of Wisconsin radiation oncologist, was recently honored with a Spirit of Caring — Contributions to the Medical Profession Award.
The award recognizes members of Community Memorial Hospital medical staff who have advanced or made significant contributions to the medical profession locally, regionally and/or nationally through service, leadership and practice.
Each Spirit of Caring Award recipient receives a $1,000 donation to their charity of choice. Award selection was determined by written nominations and a selection committee consisting of representatives from Community Memorial Hospital, Advanced Healthcare, Medical Associates and the community.
Dr. White has served as medical director of Community Memorial’s Cancer Care
Center since 2000. She is a nationally recognized leader in the treatment of breast cancer.
