If you are a business leader and want to get a handle on your organization’s healthcare needs, consider starting with a health risk appraisal. “We’ll gather data from your employees and provide each with a risk profile and suggestions for change," Tracey Brand, RD said. Brand is a registered dietitian and coordinator for the Corporate Wellness Program. “We’ll also give you an aggregate report that can help you decide where to direct your healthcare dollars. Then we’ll work with you to develop programs and services to help your company meet its healthcare goals. If the aggregate report indicates a higher-than-normal risk of heart disease, for instance, we can provide on-site blood pressure and cholesterol screenings, employee education and stress reduction classes. We can even assess your company’s food service and suggest heart-healthy menus.”

Options available through the Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin Corporate Wellness Program are extensive. Part of an academic medical center, the program offers a wide range of experts and resources and recommendations are based on the latest medical science.
