If you’re a women at high risk of developing breast cancer, the Froedtert & the Medical College Breast Cancer High Risk Assessment Clinic provides a comprehensive examination of your risk factors, and develops a personalized breast healthcare plan for you.
Each patient’s assessment includes an extensive clinical review by experienced health care team members who devote their entire practice to breast cancer risk assessment and management. The team includes advanced practice nurses, board-certified genetic counselors and registered dietitians from the Froedtert & the Medical College Breast Cancer Program, Cancer Genetics Screening Program and Nutritional Services. Alonzo Walker, MD, Medical College of Wisconsin surgical oncologist and director of the Breast Cancer Program, oversees the clinic. This multidisciplinary approach helps assure the most effective medical and lifestyle options are offered to each woman.
