Making It Count Consider making a donation to the Froedtert Hospital Foundation.
In challenging economic times, we’re all feeling the pinch. But please know that even smaller efforts make a difference.
Donations to the Froedtert Hospital Foundation help fund big things, such as clinical research and technology. But donor dollars assist in small ways, too. Funds contributed by donors help at individual levels — within chaplaincy services, indigent care, pharmacy and other areas.
When money is tight, people often forgo health screenings. Recently, donor funds to the Froedtert Hospital Foundation supported free prostate cancer screenings for more than 600 men. In three years, more than 1,500 men have been examined at the annual Miller Park screening, and nearly 13 percent had abnormal results. A number of men may have skipped the screening if there was a cost involved. (The hospital also offers year-round free prostate screenings.)
Donor dollars also serve the needs of patients in our Emergency Department, replacing damaged clothing that can’t be worn home. Your dollars fund gift cards to cover similar necessities through our social workers and help transplant patients with prescriptions.
The Froedtert Hospital Foundation works closely to match your interests with patient needs. We couldn’t fund these programs without you. You can join us by making a donation today.
