Dennis Pollard Biographical Summary

Dennis M. Pollard is senior vice president and chief operating officer for Froedtert & Community Health (F&CH). Pollard has been senior vice president and chief operating officer since June 2007. Pollard joined Community Memorial Hospital in October 1990 as the program manager for Rehabilitation Services. In January 1994, he was appointed vice president of Ambulatory Care Services for Community Memorial. He became vice president of Planning and Program Development for Community Memorial in January 2001 and in March of 2004 was promoted to senior vice president of Planning & Program Development of F&CH.

Pollard is a licensed physical therapist and a member of the American Physical Therapy Association. He received a master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from Cardinal Stritch University in 1990 and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy from Marquette University in 1978.

From 1986 to 1990, he was the director of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation services for St. Mary’s Medical Center in Racine, Wisconsin.

Pollard is a former surveyor for the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities and was a clinical faculty member for the Marquette University Program in Physical Therapy from 1982-1999.

He served on the Wisconsin Hospital Association’s Council on Medical and Professional Affairs from 1997 to 2004. Pollard is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives. He is the immediate past president of the Menomonee Falls Chamber of Commerce.
