John Zorbini Biographical Summary

John M. Zorbini joined Froedtert & Community Health (F&CH) in December 2007 as senior vice president and chief human resources officer. Prior to his promotion, he had been vice president of human resources at Community Memorial Hospital in Menomonee Falls since 1990.

From 1985-1990, Zorbini was manager of Human Resources for St. Joseph’s Hospital in Milwaukee. He was an assistant director and faculty member at Marquette University from 1979-1985. Zorbini administratively oversees the Human Resources, Organizational Development, and Occupational Health & Wellness Services departments at Froedtert & Community Health.

He continues to lead the Community Memorial Hospital campus quality improvement process, where he chairs the Continuous Quality Improvement Council.

Currently, Zorbini serves on advisory councils/boards for the Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce’s Executive Human Resources Council, the University HealthSystem Consortium (UHC) HR Officers’ Steering Committee, and the Wisconsin Hospital Association’s Workforce Development Council. He also serves on the Village of Germantown’s Planning Commission and Washington County’s Ethics Board.

Zorbini is an active member of his community where he has been the recipient of the Germantown Chamber of Commerce’s Citizen of the Year Award, the Germantown School District’s Friend of Education Award and the Menomonee Falls School District’s Friend of Education Award. He has been an adjunct faculty member at several area universities.

Zorbini is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, the Society for Human Resource Management and the American Society for Healthcare Human Resources Administration.

He holds a bachelor of arts from West Liberty State College (West Virginia) and a master of arts from Marquette University. He recently completed a two-year fellowship with the Health Care Advisory Program in Washington, D.C.
