Doctors Urge Men over 50 to Get Prostates Examined Regularly

Brewers' Davis Diagnosed with Pericarditis

Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Doug Davis has been diagnosed with pericarditis (inflammation of the tissue surrounding his heart). Froedtert & The Medical College of Wisconsin cardiologist James Kleczka, MD, said Davis has a mild case that can be treated with anti-inflammatory medication. Davis will be out of action for approximately two weeks.

Sixty Seizures to None: Young Girl Overcomes Epilepsy

From ABC News (February 2010) — For most of her life, Amanda Momberg took medication to control seizures. But at age 16, the medications stopped working, and Amanda suddenly started having 60 to 100 seizures a day. It was then that Amanda had a MEG scan at Froedtert & The Medical College of Wisconsin. MEG is an imaging technique used by doctors to detect changes in the brain. But unlike other imaging tests, the MEG scanner tracks changes in the brain instantaneously.
