Froedtert.com Wins Top Awards

(December 9, 2005) — Froedtert.com, the Web site for Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin, has received the highest honors from the eHealthcare Leadership Awards in the “Best Overall” and “Best Site Design” categories.

Froedtert.com and ClevelandClinic.org were the only two hospital Web sites in the nation to receive the Platinum award in the “Best Overall” category for hospitals with 400 or more beds.

One hundred experts in the healthcare and Internet fields chose froedtert.com from among nearly 1,200 entries. Awards were given in 10 categories based on a proprietary multi-point standard of Internet excellence.

The eHealthcare Leadership Awards are presented annually by Strategic Health Care Communications, a New York-based company that provides information on business development, marketing and Internet strategies and publishes eHealthcare Strategy & Trends.

Froedtert.com was redesigned in the fall of 2004 and new content is updated daily in support of Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin specialty areas. Fullhouse, a Milwaukee interactive marketing agency, was Froedtert’s partner in the redesign effort and continues to provide value in site enhancements to ensure healthcare consumers have the information they need to make healthcare decisions.
