Petasnick Named to American Hospital Association Executive Committee
(Aug. 12, 2005) — William D. Petasnick, president and chief executive officer of Froedtert & Community Health System, has been named to the Executive Committee of the American Hospital Association (AHA). The Executive Committee consists of the chair of the AHA board of directors, the immediate past chair, the chair-elect and four other board members, including the chair of the Operations Committee.
Appointed to the board of trustees in January 2004, Petasnick has been active in AHA for more than 20 years. His service has included chairing the AHA Task Force on Delivery System Fragmentation, serving on the governing council of the Metropolitan Hospitals Section and acting as a state delegate on several AHA boards and task forces. He assumed his post at Froedtert Hospital in 1993, and became president and CEO of Froedtert & Community Health when the system was formed in 2001.
