Consumers Rank Froedtert Hospital
Among the Best
MILWAUKEE (Sept. 25, 2006) — For the fourth time in five years, Froedtert Hospital has been named a Consumer Choice Award winner for metropolitan Milwaukee by the National Research Corporation. The award recognizes hospitals across the United States that healthcare consumers believe have the highest quality and image.
“Consumers play an increasing role in selecting their healthcare facilities and services,” NRC Chief Executive Officer Michael D. Hays said. “As more healthcare quality information is made publicly available, we expect this trend to increase.” The organizations selected for the Consumer Choice Awards are chosen by people who live in the communities the hospitals serve. To determine the winners, NRC conducts an annual survey of more than 400,000 consumers throughout the United States.
