Three Named to Board of Directors

MILWAUKEE (July 12, 2006) — Celebrating its 25th year of service to the community, Froedtert Hospital has appointed three new members to its board of directors. The new members are Kurt Bechthold of Mequon, Joan Prince of Milwaukee and Michael H. White of River Hills.

Bechthold is president and CEO of the Waukesha-based Payne and Dolan Inc. construction company, Construction Resources Inc. and Northeast Asphalt Inc. He also serves on the boards of directors of US Bank – Milwaukee Community, Junior Achievement of Wisconsin, St. Coletta of Wisconsin and Next Door Foundation.

Vice Chancellor for Partnerships and Innovation at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Prince is a member of Milwaukee Public Library, Greater Milwaukee Foundation, Healthcare for the Homeless and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Wisconsin boards of directors. In addition to her duties at UWM, she is president and CEO of The Prince Group Inc., a medical education consulting firm.

White is the chairman and CEO of Rite-Hite Holding Corp. and its subsidiaries in Wisconsin, Iowa, Canada, Denmark and The Netherlands. He serves on the Junior Achievement of Wisconsin, YMCA of Metropolitan Milwaukee, Blood Center of Southeastern Wisconsin, Milwaukee World Festivals and Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design boards.

P. Michael Mahoney, chairman of the Froedtert Hospital Board of Directors, said, “The addition of these three outstanding community leaders expands the depth and diversity of our board at a time when healthcare organizations absolutely must have directors with solid community and business sense. We are fortunate to have them join the Froedtert board.”
