Froedtert & Community Health to Lease North Hills Medical Centre
MENOMONEE FALLS (May 22, 2007) — Froedtert & Community Health has leased the 60,000-square-foot building at North Hills Medical Centre, which is being developed by Minneapolis, Minn.-based Ryan Companies US, Inc.
Froedtert & Community Health intends to use the building to provide primary care and outpatient services such as medical imaging, laboratory and comprehensive rehabilitation, as well as other specialty diagnostic and treatment services. Community-based physicians employed by the health system and closely aligned physicians, including community groups and physicians from the Medical College of Wisconsin, will also have offices at the facility.
“This Health Center will allow us to achieve our goal of providing additional primary and urgent care and a variety of specialty service options for the community,” said Peter Pruessing, Senior Vice President of External Affairs for Froedtert & Community Health. Added Bill Bestor, President and CEO of Community Memorial Hospital: “The North Hills Medical Centre’s proximity to Community Memorial Hospital will be very convenient for our patients. We believe that leasing space on this new medical campus will allow us to make the best possible use of our resources and provide increased access to health services for our patients.”
Ryan Companies plans to develop a second building of 60,000 square feet on this site. Tenants for this building are under discussion.
