Froedtert & Community Health Promotes Pollard to Chief Operating Officer
Milwaukee (Sept. 7, 2007) β Dennis Pollard has been named Chief Operating Officer for Froedtert & Community Health. In this newly created position, Pollard will be a member of the senior management team of Froedtert & Community Health. He will lead the system planning process as well as oversee support functions and implementation of specific physician relations initiatives.
"Dennis has had a key role in creating the strategic vision for our system,β said William D. Petasnick, President and CEO of Froedtert & Community Health. βHe will continue to lead system planning and supervise support areas such as materials management, human resources, marketing."
Pollard has served as Senior Vice President β Planning and Program Development for Froedtert & Community Health since March 2004. He has been a member of the executive team at Community Memorial Hospital since 1994. He will continue to serve as the key administrative liaison for system physicians aligned with Community Memorial.
Dennis is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives. He currently serves as President of the Menomonee Falls Chamber of Commerce.
A lifelong resident of Menomonee Falls, Pollard and his wife, Kathy, have four children.
Froedtert & Community Health is a regional hospital system formed in 2001 by Froedtert Hospital and Community Memorial Hospital. Joining the capabilities of a 200-bed community hospital and a 450-bed academic medical center, Froedtert & Community Health delivers nationally recognized, cost-effective healthcare treatment and technologies from two hospitals and multiple clinic and program sites in Southeastern Wisconsin.
