Cardiologist David Groden Joins Medical College of Wisconsin Faculty

Cardiologist David L. Groden, MD, has been appointed assistant clinical professor of medicine in the division of cardiovascular medicine at The Medical College of Wisconsin. He practices in the Froedtert & The Medical College Cardiology Clinic at Community Memorial Medical Commons, caring for patients ages 15 and over, and is on the medical staff of Community Memorial Hospital in Menomonee Falls.

David Groden, MDBoard-certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, nuclear cardiology and echocardiology, his clinical emphasis includes these disciplines as well as congenital heart disease, coronary artery and valvular heart disease.

Dr. Groden comes to the Medical College from the Wisconsin Heart Group in Brookfield, where he is in private practice.

He completed post-doctoral fellowships in clinical cardiology and research physiology in 1990 at Ohio State University in Columbus, following his medical residency at Emory University affiliated Hospitals in Atlanta. He received his medical degree with honors from Ohio State University Medical School in 1984.
