Froedtert & Community Health Named a Top Place to Work
Milwaukee, WI (July 17, 2009) – Froedtert & Community Health has been named a Top Milwaukee Workplace of 2009 by the Business Journal of Milwaukee. The healthcare system, which includes Froedtert Hospital, Community Memorial Hospital, St. Joseph’s Hospital in West Bend and the West Bend Clinic, is among the large employers selected for the award.
“Research has shown that hospitals and clinics who have satisfied employees also deliver the highest levels of care and service to their patients,” said John Zorbini, senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer for Froedtert & Community Health. “We pride ourselves on continually seeking feedback from our patients, staff and physicians and will continue to do so.”
The award recipients were selected after a review of an extensive survey gauging employee satisfaction with issues that measure the workplace environment, such as interaction with senior leadership, alignment with company goals and feeling valued as a staff member. The award also showcases companies that have excelled in the area of employee benefits.
Froedtert & Community Health will be honored at an awards luncheon at the Pfister Hotel in downtown Milwaukee on August 7. In addition to being named a Top Milwaukee Workplace by the Business Journal, Froedtert & Community Health has received several recent honors. Most recently, Milwaukee Magazine recognized Froedtert Hospital as one of its “Best Places to Work.”
