Froedtert Hospital Foundation Elects Two New Board Members
Milwaukee, WI (April 13, 2009) — Bruce T. Block and Mark F. Irgens were recently elected to the Froedtert Hospital Foundation Board of Directors.
Froedtert Hospital Foundation Board Chairman Geneva Johnson said the two men are important additions to the Foundation. Johnson commented, "Bruce and Mark are successful businessmen with strong connections throughout the greater Milwaukee community. I am confident they will help us tell the story of philanthropy at Froedtert Hospital and provide guidance in our fundraising work."
Block is a Bayside resident and an attorney at Reinhart, Boerner, van Deuren, SC. He is currently president of the UWM Foundation, a member of the Greater Milwaukee Committee, on the board of curators for the Wisconsin Historical Society and president of the Wisconsin Historical Foundation. He was recently named Lawyer of the Year for 2009 in the Real Estate Law category by Best Lawyers.
Irgens is a Wauwatosa resident and President of Irgens Development Partners, LLC. He formed the company in 1983 and is responsible for the finance and development of more than 200 major projects. He is active in local and national trade organizations and has earned awards and commendations for the company and himself including a designation in 2004 as Developer of the Year by Wisconsin Builder magazine.
