Froedtert & The Medical College Host Gynecologic Cancer Support Group
Milwaukee, WI (January 5, 2010) – Women with a gynecologic cancer can find information and encouragement at a new support group offered by Froedtert & The Medical College of Wisconsin. The group meets on the third Wednesday of the month from 5 pm to 6 pm. Meetings are held in Froedtert & The Medical College Clinical Cancer Center, in Conference Room M on the third floor. Refreshments are served.
Each meeting features a speaker who will lead discussion on a specific topic. The current speaker schedule includes topics ranging from cancer nutrition and exercise to cancer genetics and psychological well-being during illness.
The Clinical Cancer Center is located on Doyne Avenue between N. 87th and N. 92nd Streets in Wauwatosa. Parking is free in the parking structure beneath the Clinical Cancer Center building.
