Olson Named Chief Strategy Officer

Milwaukee, Wis. (Nov. 17, 2011) — Froedtert Health has named David A. Olson, FACHE, to the position of chief strategy officer for the health system. The appointment is effective immediately.

Olson will be responsible for leading, directing and implementing strategies to support the growth objectives of Froedtert Health.

Prior to joining Froedtert Health, Olson served as executive vice president of Columbia St. Mary’s and president of Columbia St. Mary’s - Ozaukee. He has held numerous health care leadership roles, including 11 years as president and chief executive officer at Bay Area Medical Center in Marinette, Wis.

Olson holds master’s degrees in business administration and hospital and health administration from the University of Iowa, and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire.
