Milwaukee, Wis. — Froedtert Health has added Rick Schneider as executive director of occupational health services. In this role, he will lead strategy development and execution of occupational health services provided by Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin health care network to community-based employers.
Froedtert & the Medical College is identifying new opportunities to improve value for employers and payers, while also enhancing its already-strong employee health management program. Over the past eight years, Schneider served as chief operating officer of an independent multispecialty clinic, coordinated the sale of this practice to OSF Healthcare, and served as regional manager for OSF Medical Group, Northern Illinois. Previously, Schneider worked in clinical and management positions for the former Medical Associates for just under 20 years. In addition, he coordinated development of the Horizon Occupational Health Network and Chorus Occupational Health Services, LLC, a joint venture encompassing Medical Associates, The Medical College of Wisconsin, and Horizon Healthcare hospitals (which included Froedtert and Community Memorial.)
Schneider has undergraduate degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a master’s in business administration from the Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
