Can I pre-pay my prescription online?
No. You may pay for your prescription when you pick it up. Froedtert pharmacies accept cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and a variety of third-party insurance plans.

How do I know my information is secure?
The online pharmacy tool is hosted at a safe and secure Web site. Your information is kept private by a password you create yourself. (We strongly urge you to keep your password private; don't share it with anyone, and don't keep your password in any area that is easily accessible to others.) In addition, all of the information you enter is protected with the latest encryption software from VeriSign, an industry leader in secure transaction software.

Will the online pharmacy tool keep a record of my prescription transactions?
Froedtert Hospital pharmacists will keep a complete record of your online prescription transactions. However the site does not offer this feature to users at this time.

I've entered my prescription, but keep receiving an error message. What's wrong?
Check the prescription number on your medication container. If it says PDX-E, you must select the East Clinics Pharmacy to fill your prescription. If it says PDX-W, you must select the West Pharmacy. If you've verified your pick-up pharmacy, but continue to receive error messages, please call your Froedtert pharmacy for help.

When refilling or transferring my prescription, I received a message that said I was leaving the Froedtert Web site. Does that mean my prescription is not going to the Froedtert pharmacy?
No. Although you are technically leaving Froedtert's Web site, the software (provided by PDX Inc.) used to refill or transfer prescriptions is linked directly to Froedtert Hospital's pharmacy system. Your prescription will be filled by a Froedtert Hospital pharmacist, and you can pick up your medications at your Froedtert pharmacy.

What is Froedtert Hospital’s relationship with PDX Inc.?
Froedtert Hospital has formed a business relationship with PDX Inc., a company that provides the pharmacy software technology that enables visitors to froedtert.com to access prescription refills and transfers online. PDX is responsible for technical operations of the software, and for providing the link that allows users to access pharmacy functions. PDX has signed an agreement with Froedtert Hospital to keep all information involved in transactions confidential. For more information on PDX privacy practices, click here.

How soon can I pick up my prescription?
We appreciate having one full business day to process your refill/transfer prescription before you intend to pick it up. If you are refilling/transferring prescriptions during non-business hours, (weekends or holidays) please set your desired pick-up time as the end of the next business day. Please see "business hours" for each pharmacy listed below.

PLEASE NOTE: If your medication need is URGENT, do not use the online tool. Instead, call your Froedtert Hospital pharmacist at one of the numbers listed below:

What if I forget to pick up my prescription at the time I selected?
Your Froedtert Hospital pharmacy will hold your prescription for seven days. If you've forgotten to pick up your prescription, call your Froedtert pharmacy to check whether your prescription is still on hold. If not, the pharmacy will be glad to help you order your refill on the phone or you can place your order online – whichever you prefer.

Can I pick up my prescription at either Froedtert Hospital pharmacy I choose?
Yes. The online tool will ask you to select the pharmacy of your choice. Please note: If you originally filled your prescription at the West Pharmacy, but would like to pick it up at East Clinics pharmacy, enter your prescription as a transfer, rather than a refill.

Why do I need to provide my e-mail address?
Without your e-mail address, we cannot provide you with confirmation of your transactions or your account password. The only other e-mails we will send you will cover functionality of the site.

Why do I need to provide my telephone number?
To avoid delays in processing your refill or transfer, your pharmacist will use your phone number to contact you if there are questions about your prescription.
