Douglas J. Bower, MDFamily and Community Medicine Dr. Bower is a 1979 graduate of the University of Wisconsin Medical School in Madison. He completed a Family Practice residency in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1982. He spent ten years as a full time clinical physician for a staff model HMO in Milwaukee. In 1992 he took a faculty position with the Medical College of Wisconsin as an Assistant Professor of Family and Community Medicine. At MCW, Dr. Bower continues to spend more than half of his time in patient care. In addition, he is actively involved with teaching MCW medical students at all levels. His special interests include preventive medicine, childhood immunization, family clinical practice, and obstetrics. Care Emphases: - Family Medicine
