My doctor was excellent explaining my vitamins to me. Telling me about the dangers of one of my vitamins, and going over all of the other vitamins. He made suggestions of which vitamins I should continue taking and which one to eliminate. I have never had an endocronologist go as deeply into vitamins as this docotor did. As a matter of fact none of the other two encronologists even discussed vitamins.
Dr. Shaker and his nurse were both so very patient centered. Concerned, listened, kind, helpful, encouraging, friendly and professional.
Dr Shaker was caring and very clear explaining his plan of care. I felt that he was extremely knowledgeable about osteoporosis and the treatment options. The only downside was having to wait almost 6 months for a new patient appointment.
Worth the wait!! Feel confident in his care for me. Definitely recommend!
We are just beginning to explore the reason for my condition. I feel this visit was the first rtume someone is trying to get the answers.
Best health history I have ever had
Dr Shaker is a great practitioner
Dr. Schaffer was excellent!!!!
Dr. Shaker was very thorough and spent time to explain in great detail my condition.
Dr. Shaker's staff was very helpful and friendly. As were the staff at the front desk, and, the xray technician who greeted me and took xrays that Dr. Shaker ordered. The young man at the front desk for Imaging was also very friendly and helpful - he was a young, Asian man, and I'm afraid I don't remember his name, but I'm sure you can determine who he was based on the date of my visit and the time at which I got my xrays done. I'm very pleased with Dr. Shaker - he was professional, very thorough, a good listener, and answered all my questions clearly and completely. I am especially thankful that Dr. Shaker wore a face mask for our entire consult, and, he used hand sanitizer immediately upon entering the room.
I was very impressed with ALL the staff at Froedtert from entrance to exit. I was greeted when passing any medical personnel and they wished me a good day. I see this as an intentional organizational culture behavior; I think it's great! It demonstrates a patient-focused atmosphere (not just lip service). Dr. Shaker was very focused on gathering all of the information he needed from me to make a thorough evaluation and recommendation. In order to do this, he did need to interrupt me at times as I was answering questions. I did not take offense to this (and hope others do not!). He was not rushed. I felt he was simply focused on ensuring that he had the time and details he needed to fully evaluate my situation. I believe Dr. Shaker demonstrated he cares deeply for patients and is passionate about keeping up to date in his specialty. I feel grateful he is practicing and that I'm now under his care.
My appointment today with Dr Shaker was the most thorough doctor's appointment I've ever had in my life so I feel I'm in very very good hands thank you Dr for your excellent care and expertise
Dr. Shaker was great! My appointment was right on time. He took time to explain and look things over in my chart. I feel like he listened to me and my story.
Dr. Shaker was courteous and respectful. His questions were pertinent; they were related to my medical history and necessary in developing an effective treatment plan. Upon leaving, I felt that Dr. Shaker was concerned about my medical care and would exercise his expert judgment in following up with that care.
Very good DR.
