Patients are evaluated by the nurse practitioner at every visit to include assessment of nutritional compliance, adherence to exercise program, hydration, medication requirements, and assessment for nutritional and metabolic complications. Educational needs are assessed, instructions provided, and referrals to our dietitian or psychologist are made if indicated. Repeat sleep study will be ordered when symptoms of sleep apnea resolve.
