Your Charitable Gift Can Make a Difference

Your contribution to the Froedtert Hospital Foundation’s Sarcoma Fund can help to support important work in patient care, research and education that otherwise might not be possible. Here’s how:

Seed Funding: Most major medical advancements evolve from research. Charitable contributions are an important source of “seed” support for patient-centered research in its earliest stages. Seed funding allows researchers to get the baseline data necessary to compete for National Institutes of Health and other funding.

Database Development: Large data collections allow researchers to track trends over time and gauge treatment effectiveness.

Patient Education: Helping patients deal with their diagnosis, the side effects of treatment and quality-of-life issues after treatment is a top priority. The annual Sarcoma Patient Education Day, featuring speakers and other activities for patients and families, is supported by philanthropy.

Support Groups: Research has shown that people with cancer and their caregivers are better able to deal with their disease when supported by others in similar situations.

To make a gift, click here and specify “sarcoma” in the designation box. For more information, call the Froedtert Hospital Foundation at 414-805-2699.
