Resurfacing and Rejuvenating Peels
La Roche-Posay introduces their latest innovative chemical peel to increase skin radiance, even skin tones, diminish the appearance of fine lines and visibly reduce sun and age spots.
Their exclusive LHA™ technology easily penetrates the outer layers of the skin to produce an exfoliation of each individual cell. LHA™ is a derivative of salicylic acid, but boasts a six-times superior exfoliation mechanism than pure salycilic acid alone.
The peels are strategically scheduled 2 and a half weeks apart and consist of a series of six peels for optimum results. Two weeks of preparation with the La Roche-Posay LHA™ pre-peel kit is also used to maximize the effects of the peels. The La Roche-Posay post-peel kit is used for the three days following each peel during which your skin is “recovering.”
During the peel, there is very slight discomfort, if any, however a burning sensation is usually present sometime during the first hour after the peel and lasts about 10-15 minutes. There is minimal downtime from these treatments. Redness may be visible for several days, but is minimal and can easily be covered with mineral makeup.
After one treatment there is a noticeable difference in skin radiance and tone. By the fourth treatment the appearance of fine lines is diminished, and after the sixth treatment, sun and age spots are visibly reduced by about 50 percent.
