Professional EducationThe Eye Institute is southeastern Wisconsin’s source for the most comprehensive and current information about vision and vision treatment.
All Eye Institute physicians serve as full-time faculty members at the Medical College of Wisconsin, where they teach vision care basics to tomorrow’s physicians. In addition, several of the community ophthalmologists in the region did their residency at the Eye Institute, and we continue to stream the latest vision care breakthroughs to area professionals through our many continuing education programs. For information on these programs and more, see Physician Resources.
Patient EducationThe Eye Institute is committed to providing our patients with the knowledge, motivation, and tools they need to preserve, improve and restore their eyesight. We have helped thousands of people learn how to live with reduced vision through our Vision Rehabilitation program. We also offer a number of classes and events aimed at educating patients about vision health. To learn more about your eyes and the diseases that affect them, see our Guide to Common Eye Diseases.
