Vascular Surgery Clinic

In the Vascular Surgery Clinic, team members — top vascular surgeons along with an experienced vascular nurse practitioner and physician assistant — provide advanced outpatient care for diseases of the arteries, including:

  • Carotid artery disease (which can lead to stroke)
  • Abdominal aortic aneurysm or AAA (a weakening in an aortic wall)
  • Peripheral artery disease (PAD); also called peripheral vascular disease or PVD

In addition, vascular surgeons see patients who have a variety of health conditions to evaluate them for vascular-related issues. Physicians from throughout the region refer patients with complicated and difficult-to-treat artery disease to the Vascular Clinic for evaluation and treatment.

Patient outcomes are carefully monitored and reported as research studies in medical publications. The collected data reflects the success rates of various vascular procedures and diagnostic techniques.
