Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Program

Exceptional Staff

Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy is a complicated hereditary and cardiac condition, so requires the specialized expertise of physicians and staff specially trained to manage HCM. This is especially true for people diagnosed with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy who may be contemplating pregnancy, scheduling non-cardiac surgery or facing other health events that need careful cardiac management.

The team includes specialists in areas such as valve disease, electrical problems in the heart (electrophysiology), genetic counseling, lung disease (pulmonology), interventional cardiology and heart and vascular surgery. Physicians work closely with pediatric cardiologists from Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin to screen and evaluate young family members.
