Bob Haebig's Incredible Story

SpineCare Program

SpineCare is an outpatient program that provides individualized, holistic care for people with acute spine disorders caused by injury or illness. Our treatment team includes neurosurgeons, physical medicine specialists, chiropractic physicians, nurses and physical and occupational therapists.

As many as 90 percent of people report at least one episode of back pain during their working lives, and back pain is a major cause of disability in the aging population. In many cases, back pain arises when stress is placed on the muscles and ligaments that support the spine.

People in some types of jobs — including sedentary jobs or jobs that require frequent heavy lifting —  may be particularly vulnerable to back pain. Obesity, which increases both the weight on the spine, also promotes back pain. Finally, participating in some strenuous sports can also heighten people's risk of back pain.
