Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus
Team members in the NPH Program are highly experienced in diagnosing and treating NPH. They combine their expertise to ensure patients receive the most comprehensive care possible. Team members include:
- Neurologists — physicians with advanced training in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the brain, including memory disorders
- Neurosurgeon — a physician who specializes in surgery on the brain, spine and other parts of the nervous system
- Neuropsychologists — psychologists with special training in the neurobiological causes of brain disorders
- Radiologists — physicians who specialize in creating and interpreting images of areas inside the body
Other team members include physical therapists who conduct gait assessment testing and improve movement and function of the body and a program nurse who coordinates patient visits.
