The Palliative Care Program has earned the support of local and national grant-making institutions, including the National Cancer Institute, Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, JEHT Foundation, YC Ho Helen and Michael Chiang Foundation, Kenneth B. Schwartz Center, and Retirement Research Foundation. In response to intense national interest in improving end-of-life care, the Palliative Care Program has expanded its educational and clinical care services to better serve southeastern Wisconsin and beyond.
Where We Are Going
Community Resource Center for End-of-Life Care: The Palliative Care Program staff has been gathering education, policy and clinical care resources that need to be assembled for community use. Such a resource center could serve patients, families, health professionals and community clergy.
