Froedtert & The Medical College of Wisconsin offer many support groups for people who have movement disorders and their families. Groups meet at different days, times and locations. For more information, click on the links below.
Parkinson’s Disease Support Groups
- Young Onset Parkinson Support Group for people with Parkinson’s disease in their 30s, 40s and 50s.
- Parkinson’s Disease Support Group for people with Parkinson’s disease and their families (meets the third Wednesday of each month)
- Parkinson’s Disease Support Group for people with Parkinson’s disease and their families (meets the second Wednesday of each month)
- Parkinson’s Disease Caregiver Support Group for spouses of people with Parkinson’s disease and/or care-giving children, friends and others.
- DBS Support Group for people who have had deep brain stimulation surgery and their families and/or caregivers. Another Parkinson’s disease support group is being formed at the Veteran’s Administration Hospital in Milwaukee.
Huntington’s Disease Support Group
- Huntington’s Disease Support Group for individuals, families and caregivers affected by Huntington's disease.
