The multidisciplinary experts in the Froedtert & The Medical College of Wisconsin Prostate and Urologic Cancer Program are national leaders in treating prostate cancer. We know how good our doctors are because we monitor our success very closely. For example, we know that the average hospital visit for cryosurgery for a patient in our program is 1.6 days, and the risk of rectal injury is less than 1 percent. We have experts who focus specifically on urologic cancer management and prostate cancer. And our physicians in each specialty area are all located in one place to optimize decision-making and provide insight to patients at all relevant phases of treatment.
